TOMMY AND DEE HILFIGER ATTEND THE 2018 METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART COSTUME INSTITUTE BENEFIT

Hilfiger’s guests included Lewis Hamilton, Shawn Mendes, Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, Ruby Rose, Hailey Baldwin, Winnie Harlow, and Joan Smalls all in custom ‘Tommy Hilfiger’.

Tommy and Dee Hilfiger attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit on May 7, 2018 in New York City to celebrate the opening of ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’. Highlighting the historic and contemporary influence of religion on art and fashion, the exhibition features traditional Catholic artwork alongside ensembles by select designers, and will be presented across three galleries of The Met. The evening was co-chaired by Amal Clooney, Rihanna, Donatella Versace, and Anna Wintour, with Christine and Stephen A. Schwarzman serving as honorary chairs.

Guests seated at Tommy Hilfiger’s table included Dee Hilfiger, Tommy Hilfiger global brand ambassador Lewis Hamilton, singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes, television personalities Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble, actress Ruby Rose, and supermodels Hailey Baldwin, Winnie Harlow, and Joan Smalls.

“I look forward to the evening of the Met Gala every year. The incredible exhibits of the Costume Institute set the perfect backdrop for a celebration of fashion,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Fashion is such an important part of the framework of history and culture, and it’s always interesting to see the ways in which they have inspired one another over the years and continue to do so.”

Tommy Hilfiger wore a forest green, faille peak lapel tuxedo, faille stripe trousers, embellished with a cross motif in mixed cabochon and crystal completed by an evening shirt and black bowtie.

Dee Hilfiger wore a beaded tarnished silver sheath dress embellished with a cross motif in mixed cabochon and crystal, complimented by a jeweled Byzantine belt.
